When a user checks their position, they're looking at how many tokens x:y they have, and the information about LP tokens doesn't provide any information of relevance.The page can simply show current token position as shown below, but also should show how many tokens you added initially in the pool.<img src="https://fb-usercontent.fra1.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/1704322073784.png">
