Connecting with Apple Smartphone

Using the Common Web App on an Apple smartphone is far from smooth. It's complicated to open the Common Web App and connect it to MetaMask App or any other wallet app.

  • Pages take a long time to load, and there are frequent issues with linking the wallet and creating signatures. It feels like you have to repeat all the steps 3 times until it works.

  • The Faucet service on Common Faucet for Arbitrum Sepolia is unreliable. Often, the “Send” button is inactive or greyed out, making it unusable.

  • Overall, the process is overly complicated and not beginner-friendly. Wallet integration, especially with apps like MetaMask, performs very poorly.

  • Even though the Common Web App itself is user-friendly, it’s not a big help if the wallet connection and the surrounding setup are overly complex and frustrating.

For me, really good UX means that connecting with any wallet app is effortless ideally as simple as one click. At the very least, it should be that easy with one wallet app. The same goes for all other interactions with the Common Web App: simple and seamless.
